Motor Mouth

It occurred to me in the car today, and again when I was trying to hear something on the Today Show about a murder, again in the car, and then when I was on the phone with the insurance company, again in the car, at lunch, in line at Hobby Lobby, and just now while I vacuumed... I'm going to wish my child talked this much when he's 16.

We're a little over 24 hours in to summer break [well, for Murph - J.Heimer has another week] - and I'm already tuning out the third and fourth reports of Jeff Green, the NBA player who is ACTUALLY THE BEST FRIEND of my Kindergarten classmate, and HAS BEEN TO HIS HOUSE, he promised! and do I remember that commercial about those babies talking and that girl says "That's not nice!" with LOTS OF um's and then's and more um... and Why don't you remember, Mom!? with the commercial scenario told over and over as if it'll jog my memory hearing the same recollected version again - even after I explain I've seen a lot less television on NickJr than he has... how it WASN'T MY RULE and I DON'T KNOW why the powers that be had us give back their little graduation "mortar board" caps to use again next year after our Kindergarten program last night... because two hours have passed and maybe he thinks I'll just suddenly KNOW WHY.

I'm going to pull this up and read it one day when I ask him how his day was and he says, "Fine." and walks off.
